“Mars Thailand Inc.” Invites Pet Owners to Provide Pedigree Meals to Sheltered Dogs under “PEDIGREE Feed A Friend – Fill The Bowl” Campaign. Every Purchase of 1 Participating Pedigree Bag Will Turn into 1 Meal for Sheltered Dogs

Mars Thailand Inc. is co-creating the culture of responsible pet ownership, furthering its mission to end pet homelessness problem in the long run. Mars Thailand Inc. is launching the campaign “PEDIGREE Feed a friend – Fill the bowl” under the concept “Love is Sharing” to mobilize pet owners to buy 1 bag of participating Pedigree products and the Company will match on with feeding a meal to sheltered dogs. The goal is to feed 200,000 meals, starting from August 11 – September 10. 2021. At the end of the campaign, Pedigree products will be delivered to dogs living in shelters in 6 provinces nationwide.

Mr. Ratchakorn Chenpattanapong, General Manager Thailand & Indochina, Mars Thailand Inc., revealed that Mars Incorporated is proceeding to develop products that serve the nutrition and health needs of pets, while maintaining our commitment to promote the culture of responsible pet ownership and realize the mission to end pet homelessness problem in the long run. As for the Southeast Asia region, the activities under the campaign “PEDIGREE Feed a friend – Fill the Bowl” are to be organized in 3 countries, namely Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia by delivering Pedigree dog food to dogs living in shelters. The campaign aims to achieve the total goal of 500,000 meals during the period from August – October 2021.

Mars Thailand Inc. operates a large portfolio of Thailand’s leading dog and cat food brands including PEDIGREE®, WHISKAS®, IAMS® ROYAL CANIN®, CESAR®, SHEBA®, TEMPTATIONS® and the cat litter brand, CATSAN®. Mars Thailand Inc. is further pursuing its parent company’s initiative by organizing a campaign under the name ” PEDIGREE Feed a friend – Fill the bowl ” under the concept “Love is sharing.” The campaign mobilizes pet owners and those interested to participate through purchasing one bag of Pedigree products (any type with minimum bag size of 2.7 kg.) via online channel as well as in-stores at participating department stores, supermarkets and leading pet food stores. For every bag, Mars Thailand Inc. will match on with 1 meal for sheltered dogs, with a total target of 200,000 meals throughout the campaign.

At the end of this campaign, our partner The Voice Foundation will serve as the intermediary to help deliver Pedigree dog food to shelters in 6 provinces, namely, Bangkok, Chonburi, Saraburi, Nakhon Pathom, Kanchanaburi and Nakhon Ratchasima.
